St. Mary and St. Michael's Church, Kirton, Suffolk
8th May 2004

The Kirton Living History Day was organised by Len Lanigan with the aim of getting people interested in their local history and we were invited along to demonstrate life as a Viking. This event was held in and around the church (the Vikings did eventually become Christian!). As well as our tent and cooking display, we had games of Hnefetafl with the public and a weaving demonstration. Glenn also gave talks about Viking weapons and armour.
